The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Complex Decongestive Physiotherapy (CDP) applied after lymphovenous anastomosis surgery on the amount of edema and the patient's quality of life in a case diagnosed with precocious lymphedema. 20 sessions of CDP were applied to a 54-year-old patient with lymphedema in the right lower extremity. The amount of edema of the patient was evaluated by the circumference measurement method, and the quality of life was evaluated by the Lymphedema Function, Disability and Health Questionnaire-Lower Extremity (LFESA-AE). As a result of the study, a decrease in limb volume and an increase in quality of life were observed. CDP applied after lymphovenous anastomosis surgery will be useful in reducing the amount of edema and improving the quality of life. However, further studies with larger sample sizes are needed.
